"Ourself Behind Ourself, Concealed," "We Hunt the Doe," and "What I Assume You Shall Assume" are exhibiting in "Nude" at Manifest Gallery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
"Nude" is a juried exhibition. From the organizer: Through all the permutations art has experienced across history, work of the body persists. We use the human nude to master skill, understand ourselves, and push social and psychological buttons for the sake of expression. Featuring works by: Kate Brockman, Peter Bustin, Daniel Dallmann, Dennis Gordon, Luke Jordan, Peter M. Krask, Theresa Lucey, Jamie Luoto, Jeff Mathison, Natalie Morales, Heidi Mortensen, Phoebe Scott, Ira Upin, and Jesse Zuo. I am pleased to share my inclusion in Art Maze Magazine's double volume edition 32-33. Selections were made by the Art Maze Staff.
In-print and digital copies are out now! I don't often get to see where my work ends up so naturally I'm feeling quite happy to discover six of my nearly 50 animal portraits nestled in this beautiful Architectural Digest home tour!
Below are the six featured portraits which are available in three sizes and can be purchased in my etsy shop. There are even some of the framed original paintings available as well. Please feel to contact me with any questions. I am extremely honored to be one of 40 artists selected to be a part of New American Paintings, Pacific Coast, issue 163.
Selections were made by Jenny Gheith, Associate Curator of Painting and Sculpture at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. In-print and digital copies are out now!
Minds Pass Minds If They Be Occupied, a piece from my series I Believe in Ghosts, is exhibiting in True North at di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art in Napa, California.
True North is a juried exhibition surveying talent from San Francisco's North Bay. The collection of work was juried by Chester Arnold, Ashwini Bhat, and Chandra Cerrito and is open to the public from December 16 through January 22, 2023. Coming soon to the midwest is an opportunity to see Familiar and Two Fawns which were selected to be a part of Stories From My Childhood, a nationally juried exhibition at the Northern Illinois University Art Museum. This is sure to be a fascinating exhibition that will feature "stories of transformative or impactful events from artists' preteen years via original works of art and accompanying text."
The opening reception will be held on Thursday, December 1st from 4:30 to 7:00pm CST. More details here. |
I created this space to showcase my past work, chronicle my current projects, and share my inspiration.
