Coming soon to the midwest is an opportunity to see Familiar and Two Fawns which were selected to be a part of Stories From My Childhood, a nationally juried exhibition at the Northern Illinois University Art Museum. This is sure to be a fascinating exhibition that will feature "stories of transformative or impactful events from artists' preteen years via original works of art and accompanying text."
The opening reception will be held on Thursday, December 1st from 4:30 to 7:00pm CST. More details here. We Hunt the Doe was selected to be a part of Portrait International Juried Exhibition at the Li Tang Gallery which opens November 4th. I'm excited to share this exhibition because this collection of work is presented through a virtual gallery space and is geographically accessible to all! The works are viewable in a webpage format or as a "walkable" 3D virtual gallery. Note: The 3D gallery works best on Firefox and Google Chrome.
