![]() With Mother's Day around the corner, it's about time to start brainstorming new and special ways to say, "I love you" and "Thank you for being awesome, Mom." Lucky for you, I've already been brainstorming and boy do I have something special for you! I am offering one of a kind, custom pendants that are a wonderful way to express yourself as the pendant lends itself as a host to your creativity. With both gold and silver frames to choose from, your mama will be stylishly wearing wonderful photographic memories for years to come! This truly is a custom pendant. I have been finding so much inspiration from light, airy, and feminine things as of late. The most recent pair of earrings that I created were inspired by the Sandro Botticelli painting The Birth of Venus. As stated in my Etsy listing, The gemstone is representative of the ocean and the gold chain is meant to symbolize the long golden locks of hair on the ever beautiful woman, Venus. It is my hope that these earrings empower the wearer to feel pride in her own natural beauty as a woman. There is so much to be inspired by in the spring! ♥ Miss Bojambo
![]() Valentine's Day draws nearer everyday and I asked my neice (she is soon to be four), if she would be my Valentine, to which she responded, "No." But I think that I can change her mind with a rockin' be my valentine card. What do you think about Valentine's Day? Celebrate it, give a simple gesture, anti-v-day, or is everyday Valentine's Day? Hmm. Personally, I think it's a bit cheesy, but it is a good excuse to watch An Affair to Remember, and have a decadent dessert! This is definitely something to look forward to while depressing January comes to a close. Something else to look forward to is that MissBojambo.Etsy.com is offering free shipping on all orders through the 10th of February 2010 for those of you that would like to order something sweet and thoughtful for yourself or another special someone. There are new pieces to choose from, all vintage inspired and wonderfully feminine. I hope they perk up your day, considering January is turning out to be quite depressing - it's turning my life into a dark and gritty graphic novel... Yikes. Enjoy the Jewels! ![]() 'The Golden Book of Chocolate' I awoke yesterday morning only to find that a solid cloud blanketed the sky. How disappointing. I was under the impression that this was going to be tone for the entire day. I can’t stand to see a cloudy day during the summer months in Seattle, because I know that winter and the “veil" of rain clouds are just around the corner. I was slightly disheartened by the whole lack of sunshine thing, but I still felt inspired by my new book, The Golden Book of Chocolate. The pictures alone are a treat! After making chocolate syrup to drench my French toast in, I enjoyed a rich, soy mocha in my studio space where I began to harness the power of my imagination! Like most Sundays, I don’t really expect myself to accomplish too much, however, I managed to make an even bigger mess in my workspace, complete two necklaces, and the sun came out in the middle of my crafting session so I made a small workspace out in my garden where I enjoyed the sun, my bf and kittens company, and all of the beautiful roses that barricade our yard. It was quite lovely! I ended the day by documenting my work, which was followed by a couples-bicycle adventure. What a beautiful Sunday! - Miss Bojambo
Another warmer than usual day here in Seattle. 89 degrees - and the perfect excuse to visit my favorite air-conditioned bead supply store. I certainly escaped the heat and enjoyed an uninterrupted hour of bead hunting/ drooling over all of the different trinkets I dream of getting my craft hungry little hands on ... all in good time. Today, I was in the market for beautiful, classic-white pearls, which I believe will be the finishing touch on my new necklace (yet to be named). I am excited to see how this necklace unfolds ... stay tuned! - Miss Bojambo |
I created this space to showcase my past work, chronicle my current projects, and share my inspiration.
